Rope Access Journeyperson Insulator

Tacten is seeking professional, energetic and forward-thinking JP Insulators with IRATA certification to support operations in the Alberta Oil Sands. 

• Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound.
• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
• Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives.
• Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation.
• Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised.
• Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance.
• Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs.
• Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments.
• Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.

• JM Insulator 
• IRATA Level 1 or 2 Rope Access certification
• Camp and travel provided / Applicants can be located within Canada and flown from major hubs
• 14/14 maintenance rotation at 12 hrs/day
