Tacten is seeking an IRATA Level 3 Foreman to support our client site in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Level 3 Foreman, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety. Leveraging your advanced skills and expertise in rope access techniques, you will play a crucial role in overseeing complex operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

 

 

Position Information: 

  • Start Date: June 3, 2026
  • 14/14 rotation, 12-hour shifts
  • Fly-in-fly-out from Alberta hubs
  • Camp provided

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of Technicians, Industrial Trades, Inspectors, and Engineers.
  • Respond on a daily basis to inquiries made by Client.
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, mentoring, training, and skills development to technicians reporting to you.
  • Review and approve time sheets and Field Level Risk Assessments, correct deficiencies and provide feedback to technicians.
  • Assist in the investigation and documentation of near misses, safety incidents, and non-conformances.
  • Participate in Internal and Client-led procedural and process safety and quality audits.
  • If required, provide services in situations where no other persons are available to perform the work.

Requirements

  • IRATA Level 3 Certification
  • Minimum of 5 years Industrial experience
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory or leadership experience
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under the pressure.
  • Journeyman trade preferred
