Tacten is hiring Rope Access Labourers (IRATA Levels 1, 2 & 3) for our Projects Team at CNRL Albian – Fort McMurray, AB!

Responsibilities

  • Perform material handling, lifting, and tool management as required.
  • Support rope access technicians with cleaning, surface preparation, maintenance, and general labour tasks at height and ground level.

  • Conduct pre-use inspections of tools and PPE.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and site safety standards.

  • Participate in toolbox meetings and follow all rope access and safety procedures.

  • Follow all rope access procedures and adhere to IRATA, site permits, and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient operations.

  • Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • IRATA Certification required (Level 1, 2 or 3).

  • CSO or BSO certification required.

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated, able to work at a high technical and performance level.

  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

  • Exceptional safety awareness and commitment to quality.

  • Effective problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.

Safety Requirements

  • CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO/CSO certification required.

  • CSE/M (Confined Space Entry and Monitoring) certification required.

  • ESC Fall Protection certification is an asset.

  • Commitment to following all site-specific safety procedures and protocols.
