IRATA Certified Journeyperson Electrician

Tacten is seeking an experienced Rope Access Journeyperson Electrician to support our client site, CNRL Horizon, in Fort McMurray, AB! As a Rope Access Electrician, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety.

Project Details:

• Long-Term Maintenance - Full-Time
• 14/14 Rotation, 12 hour shifts
• Start Date: ~January 1st 
• Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary hubs only! 

• Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required
• Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
• Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

• JM Electrician Certification required
• Must have EHT experience
• IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification - or willingness to obtain IRATA Level 1 certificate.
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness 
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level

Safety Certifications

• ESC CSO or OSSA BSO

• First Aid certification
