Tacten is looking for an IRATA Level 3 Project Manager to support operations in the Pacific Region. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who excels in a fast-paced trades environment and is eager to take on leadership responsibilities, broaden their skillset, and make a tangible impact on high-profile projects while advancing their career.
Position Details:
Location: Kamloops, BC
Schedule: Project-based, up to 40 hrs/week, with potential for overtime
Rate: Up to $59.50/hr, depending on certifications
Requirements: Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate

Mechanical and Industrial Experience required, with hands-on exposure to equipment, piping, and structural components
Supervision of Trades: Oversee and collaborate with various trades, including pipefitters, welders, and other technical staff
Project Management: Provide overall supervision and management for crews and Rope Access (RA) work scopes, including planning and organizing work sites
Crew Oversight: Directly supervise all crews performing technical and industrial services at heights, ensuring safe and efficient operations
Safety Management: Responsible for the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, ensuring compliance with IRATA standards and organizational safety policies
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure both individual and organizational adherence to IRATA standards and regulations, supporting safe, high-quality, and effective performance of work
IRATA Level 3 Certification
Mechanical/Industrial Experience in hands-on environments
Multi-Trade Experience, with exposure to managing and coordinating diverse teams
Project Management Experience, overseeing schedules, resources, and work execution
Welding Expertise, including knowledge of inspection, procedures, and fabrication practices
NDT Certifications/Experience considered an asset
Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results
Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and team members
Exceptional safety awareness and dedication to maintaining quality standards
Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management
Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
