Tacten is currently recruiting for a IRATA Rope Access Journeyperson Electrician to support our client site, CNRL Albian, in Fort McMurray, AB.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a growing division within Tacten. Do you have experience working as a Electrician and are certified in rope access? If so, apply today! 

  • Long-term Maintenance Project
  • 14/14 rotation at 11.5hrs./day
  • Fly-in/fly-out from local city hubs (Calgary or Edmonton only!) 

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required
  • Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
  • Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician Certification Required
  • IRATA Level 1 required. Ability to hire those with IRATA Level 2 and 3 as well.
  • Industrial and EHT experience required
  • Local to Fort McMurray, Edmonton, Calgary or surrounding areas.

Safety Certifications

  • CSTS-09 or OSSA BSO or ESC CSO
