Rope Access Technicians

Tacten is actively searching for IRATA Technicians to join our team and contribute to supporting temporary projects through the winter work season in the Vancouver area. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

 Position Information

• On Call/Project based
• Start date, and duration is subject to change based on winter conditions
• Salary range $25 to $55/hr based on IRATA Level Certification and experience

• Using Rope Access to participate in the removal of snow and ice from various locations such as bridges, rooftops, awnings, and high ledges etc.
• Utilize various equipment as required such as as snow shovels, ice chippers, and de-icing agents, to clear the snow and ice.

• IRATA Certification (certificate must be included in the application)
• Able to travel to and from work-sites in the Vancouver area.
• Available to work on an on-call basis
• Able to work day or night shifts
• Willing to work outside in wintry conditions (wet, cold, ice)
• Preference is given to local residents
• Strong work ethics
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness 
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
