Position Summary

Acuren is seeking a Thickness Monitoring Location (TML) Data Entry Admin to be based on a client site in Northern Alberta. This is a full time site-based position that works 4 days on (10 hour days) and 3 days off.  Camp Accommodations and charter flights from Calgary or Edmonton and camp will be provided.

Responsibilities

The main role of the Thickness Monitoring Location (TML) Data Entry Admin is to gather all the information from reports from the techs and track the percentage (%) complete and review reports to make sure there are no discrepancies. Communication between this position and the techs executing inspection as well as the In-Service Inspectors (ISI’s) for that business unit is paramount to the success of this role.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing Maximo and Vision 
  • Reports: Partial reports are submitted at shift change, or if a certain Inspection method is complete.
  • If a Critical Low Reading is found (<3mm) report this right away and updates on the general state of the rest of the circuit that has been inspected.
  • When reviewing these documents you will confirm all the information (Corrosion Allowances, Nominal Thickness, Low Reading locations, orientation of scans, Main Cover page information is correct.
  • Review and confirmation of accurate information on Inspection due dates, WO#, location, Equipment, Report Numbers
  • Upload information to Visions. Work with the ISI’s to review and determine discrepancies on old reports, determine out how they want that information captured as to provide corrosion rates, end of life timelines, etc.
  • Provide Visions reports from previous inspections to the technicians who are going out to inspect / follow up as to ensure there is no “Pipe Growth”.
  • Tracking Circuit Completion: A Wall chart needs to be used to track the progress of each circuit.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one Visual ticket CWB or API (570)

  • NDE experience

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written

  • Data Entry Experience
  • Advanced Excel and reporting experience
  • Experience with Maximo an asset
  • Experience with Visions an asset
  • Engineer-In-Training or computer sciences education discipline considered an asset
