Level II Infrared Thermographer (IR Technician)

Acuren Inspection is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Level II Infrared Thermographer for a full-time position available immediately. This role is essential for conducting detailed infrared inspections on a variety of equipment within industrial settings. Position Summary: As a Level II Infrared Thermographer, you will be responsible for performing infrared inspections on both rotating and static equipment, including heaters, furnaces, steam traps, and electrical systems. This position requires a commitment to safety and efficiency in line with both Acuren and client-specific practices.

• Conduct thorough infrared inspections on a variety of industrial equipment.
• Analyze infrared images to detect anomalies and provide detailed reports and findings to clients.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols during inspections.
• Participate in and support Acuren Engineering and Inspection Services as needed.
• Travel frequently for short durations to meet client needs and project requirements.
• Demonstrated excellence in work ethic.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
• A strong focus on safety and quality.

• Level II Infrared Thermography certification required.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with internal furnace IR scanning is preferred.
• Vibration Certification Category 2 would be considered a strong asset.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Valid Driver’s License and TWIC card.
