Position Summary

Tacten is seeking professional, energetic, and forward-thinking 2nd Year Apprentice Pipefitters to support our client site at CNRL Horizon in Fort McMurray, AB. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

 

We will certify you in IRATA Level 1 (Rope Access) course, and offer flexible project schedules that you can work throughout the year, flights, and camp/accomodations! 

 

Project Details:

  • Local to Fort McMurray or able to fly out of Alberta Hubs (FIFO) Calgary or Edmonton
  • Location: CNRL HORIZON
  • 6/1 turnaround rotation, 12 hrs/day
  • Start Date: Around May 15th 
  • Duration: Turnaround until June 30th

Requirements

  • Registered Apprentice within Pipefitting 
  • IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain. Ability to hire those with IRATA Level 2 and 3 as well.
  • CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO
  • CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)
  • ESC Fall Protection an asset
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness 
  • Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
  • Valid driver's license
