Visual Inspector - API

As a Visual Inspector at Acuren, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of equipment, contributing directly to the success of our clients' operations. • Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
• Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation
• Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection/or rejection
• Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• API 510
• Experience in pressure vessel and/or piping repairs
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, VIII.Div.1, IX,II, CSA W47.1 and W59.3 codes is an asset
• Knowledge of NDT methods (x-ray/radiographic, mag-particle, liquid penetrant, etc.,) is an asset
• Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
