Level 3 Rope Access Technician

Tacten is seeking professional, energetic, and forward-thinking Level 3 Rope Access Technicians to support our client site at CNRL Horizon in Fort McMurray, AB. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

Project Details:

• Local to Fort McMurray or able to fly out of Alberta Hubs (FIFO) Calgary or Edmonton
• Location: CNRL HORIZON
• 6/1 turnaround rotation, 12 hrs/day
• Start Date: Around May 15th 
• Duration: Turnaround until June 30th

• Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
• Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level III Rope Access Technician
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques
• Assist other technicians as required
• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment
• Comfortable with heights
• Willingness to learn and improve
• Team orientation
• Ability to work productively in adverse conditions

• Previous work experience of a Level III Rope Access Technician
• CSO or BSO required
• ESC Confined Space Monitor and Entry required
• ESC Fall Protection an asset
  
• Skilled Labourer Ticket is an asset
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients and co-workers
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness 
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driver's abstract
